When passion meets tradition, good things happen.

Fishing and farming isn't just what we do. It's who we are. What started as an undying family passion for the sea, passed down from one generation to the next, has been transformed into a global company. Today, Cooke produces some of the very best seafood in the world.

Our secret to producing the best farm-raised salmon, wild-caught salmon, scallops, crab, oysters, shrimp, and other value-added products is simple. We work closely with local communities to harvest and raise the very best seafood for our customers.

We operate in pristine marine environments, rely on science and experts to ensure sustainability, use feed from sustainable resources, and constantly search for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We're proud of the fact that we don't take shortcuts. And we're confident our customers can taste the difference.

The Cooke Story:
From Small Family Company to Global Seafood Leader

The Cooke family's group of companies began with Cooke Aquaculture, which was established in 1985 as Kelly Cove Salmon by Gifford, Michael and Glenn Cooke. The company's origins were humble, beginning with a single marine farm site containing 5,000 salmon.

Recognizing that integration is essential to competing worldwide and controlling their own destiny, the Cooke family embarked on an aggressive plan for growth, with acquisitions and a strategic search for development opportunities that continues to this day.

Over the years, the company expanded its facilities, product lines, and distribution networks to become fully-integrated within its aquaculture operations. With acquisitions, Cooke has further expanded its seafood assets into the wild fishery. Today, the company is a leader in the global seafood industry.

Our mission is to be a global seafood leader driven by an innovative team that delivers superior products, service, and value to our customers in a safe and environmentally sustainable manner.
