Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Pay: $20.00/hour

Duration: Temporary 2-week assignment

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a temporary 2-week assignment at a mushroom production facility in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials from one greenhouse to another within the facility. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment and performing physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to transport materials between greenhouses.
• Assist with moving and handling materials throughout the facility.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Assist with general duties as required.

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift license is required.
• CSA-approved safety shoes are mandatory.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an indoor greenhouse environment with varying temperatures, including cold and humid conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious .
