Overview
We're looking for a Director of Product Marketing to set product marketing strategy and lead the PMM team at Dash Social. This is a highly visible, strategic role. You'll be Marketing's main counterpart, the voice of the product in company positioning, and the leader of the releases that create our biggest market moments. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, you'll work closely with Product, Marketing, Enablement, and Revenue teams. Together, you'll make sure our products, both new and existing, are clearly differentiated, well-enabled in the field, and resonate with our buyers and users, leading to adoption and growth.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You'll build an efficient, repeatable, AI-enabled system that turns the continuous flow of new capabilities into easily digestible, value-based narratives for the field. You'll also measure whether that work is moving pipeline and win rate.
What You'll Do
- Set product marketing strategy and priorities for the PMM team, and serve as Marketing's primary counterpart on product narrative, launches, and go-to-market planning.
- Own Dash's product pillars, use cases, and buyer and user personas. Build a value-first messaging framework from them that equips Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Lead our largest (tier-1) releases end to end: narrative, audience, cross-functional readiness, enablement, and measurable success criteria. Define the launch tiering model that governs how every release is handled.
- Own win/loss reviews, competitive and market intelligence, including a recurring quarterly competitive report and battlecards. Turn these insights into input for product, positioning, and deal strategy.
- Bring the PMM perspective to company positioning, ICP, analyst relations, and the GTM calendar in partnership with Marketing leadership.
- Track how PMM content is used in the field and measure its influence on pipeline and win rate. Use those insights to decide what to build, refine, or retire.
- Define how PMM works with Product, Enablement, and the field, including intake, launch planning, feedback loops, and shared rituals.
- Continuously find efficiencies in how PMM works, using AI tools and automation to speed up research, competitive monitoring, content creation, and launch execution so the team can focus on high-judgment work.
- Lead and develop the Product Marketing team, setting the standard for PMM excellence at Dash.
Desired Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related GTM roles, with at least 5 years in B2B SaaS product marketing.
- Experience managing and developing a team of product marketers.
- Proven track record developing product positioning, messaging, personas, and GTM strategies that drive adoption and growth.
- Experience leading major launches end-to-end, ideally including designing a tiered launch framework.
- Experience running a competitive intelligence program with recurring outputs that Sales and leadership rely on.
- Comfort with data, including measuring content usage and its impact on pipeline or win rate using tools like SalesHood, Gong, and Hubspot.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, or AI features in your GTM stack) in your day-to-day work, with examples of workflows you've built or streamlined.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling, value-based narratives.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence across the organization.
- Experience working closely with Product teams and understanding product development lifecycles.
Nice to Have
- Experience in social media, martech, or creator economy SaaS.
- Background in building product marketing functions from the ground up.
Why Dash Social
- Opportunity to lead product marketing at a fast-growing company with an industry-leading platform.
- Collaborative, innovative environment with high-calibre teammates.
- Chance to make a visible impact on our GTM success and company growth.
