Retail Checker - Durham

Job Title: Part-Time Retail Checker
Location: Durham Region / Clarington Region / Uxbridge Region
Shift/Hours: Store visits are completed in 1 day, with flexible start times between 8:00 am - 11:00 am
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr + $0.61/km

The position supports scheduled site visits to retail locations such as convenience stores, grocery stores, and gas stations. Responsibilities include checking for proper signage and confirming ID verification practices. After each visit, details are recorded through the client's mobile app or on a route sheet for submission.

Job Details:

• Visit various stores to check for proper signage (promotions, age restrictions for cigarettes/vapes).
• Ensure clerks are asking for proper ID before completing sales.
• Record your findings using our client's mobile app.
• Complete a route sheet and input the data once you get home.

Requirements:

• A reliable car for your travels.
• Commitment to completing the entire route in one day, which can take 5 - 10 hours.
• Comfort with driving in various settings (suburban, commercial, rural).
• Due to the nature of the role and being a secret shopper, candidates must be between the ages of 19 to 25.
• Independence and a strong work ethic.
