Job Title : Inventory Control Associate
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

This role focuses on monitoring and maintaining inventory to support ongoing production requirements. Duties include recording inventory movements, managing stock levels, and working within the ERP system to ensure materials are available as scheduled.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise between Client Supply Chain and Production Teams.
• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records for raw materials, finished goods, and client-owned inventory.
• Performing clerical functions such as answering calls, entering data into computers (knowledge of Advanced Excel and ERP System) and helping customers.
• Maintaining and updating required inventory levels for products and materials.
• Verify receipt of products & materials from suppliers.
• Prepare a daily report on all production for the previous day and publish it to all stakeholders.
• Track and reconcile finished goods, aged inventory, returns, damages, and non-conforming materials.
• Perform cycle counts on all component inventory to minimize discrepancies in counts.
• Ensure the production lines are being utilized to maximize efficiency.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in inventory control, accuracy, and information flow.
• Ensure all inventory activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, quality, customer service, cost, and company objectives; support training of new inventory personnel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment
• Strong data entry and computer skills to record details such as barcodes, supplies, damages, etc.
• Knowledge of GMPs
• Ability to work independently and learn on the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong math and critical thinking skills.
