General Labourer/Forklift

Job Title: General Labourer/Forklift

Location: Moncton, NB

Wage: $20.00/hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

Job Description:
This role combines physically demanding general labor focusing on yard picking and other warehouse duties. Work is performed primarily outdoors. Forklift is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trucks and containers using manual labor or forklifts
• Perform yard picking activities, including locating, retrieving, and moving materials in the yard and storage areas
• Conduct heavy picking, packing, stacking, and sorting of products in the warehouse and yard
• Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials throughout the shift
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of warehouse, yard, and outdoor work areas
• Accurately complete inventory counts, documentation, and basic data entry related to yard and warehouse movements
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic patterns, and company policies for yard and warehouse operations

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed mostly outdoors in a warehouse/logistics and yard environment
• Repetitive heavy lifting, picking, and manual labor required
• Operations' needs and duties may vary from time to time
• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working at heights (as required)
• Work in changing seasonal weather, including heat and cold

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand harsh weather conditions
• Forklift experience is an asset
• Must be able to read and understand English for inventory, yard picks, and documentation
• Must have a reliable vehicle to commute to site
• Safety boots required; all other PPE will be provided
