Under the supervision of the Associate Registrar-Systems, the Functional Analyst will maintain effective and efficient operation of the Registrar's Office information systems, while seeking new and creative ways to automate processes and procedures, with the ultimate goal of delivering new and improved services. The Functional Analyst works as part of a team to provide day-to-day maintenance and support of all information systems relating to the department. The Systems Team is responsible for the student information system, exporting and importing data to various related internal and external systems, exam/timetable scheduling, maintenance and expansion of web-based services and web pages, production of the academic timetable and final exam schedule, ad-hoc reporting, and production of the University Calendar as it relates to the Registrar's Office.
The successful applicant will have an undergraduate degree and two years' related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. The preferred candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, and is self-assured, approachable and reliable. Additional requirements include: superior time management, effective communication skills, demonstrated problem solving/analytical abilities, proven organizational skills, demonstrated ability to work and multi-task in a very busy environment, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Experience working in an academic environment is considered an asset. Candidates should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, and have an aptitude for, or previous experience, using business enterprise systems such as Colleague, Banner, PeopleSoft, etc.

Salary: $ 53,529 per annum [Step Progression: $53,529 to $62,052]
