AZ Driver - Seasonal Propane

Title : AZ Driver - Propane Tanker

Location: Napanee, ON
PayRate: $32/hr. + applicable overtime
Schedule: 4 on 4 off rotation. 8 to 12 hour shifts

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, flexibility in scheduling, and the ability to handle routes between Ottawa and Sarnia, ON.

We are seeking experienced AZ Drivers to safely transport propane to commercial customers with full safety training provided. Please note the starting point for this role is in Napanee, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sleeper cab with tanker trailer (pick up empty)
• Deliver propane to surrounding townships after pick up of propane
• Maintain accurate Electronic Logs (ELDs) and Daily Trip Reports.
• Conduct pre-trip, and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues to dispatch.
• Adhere to all company policies, government transportation regulations, and safety standards.
• Identify and report potential hazards or safety concerns while on duty.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), WHMIS, and other required safety training.
• Excellent customer service and safety focused

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clear criminal record check within 30 days (mandatory).
• Clean and current Abstract and CVOR (mandatory).
• Ability to work in a rotation of 4 days on, 4 days off, including statutory holidays.
• Ability to pass road test
• Ability to start and end in either Napanee on a regular basis.
