Coach Atlantic Maritime Bus are currently recruiting a Full-Time Customer Service Representative for our Charlottetown Terminal Maritime Bus location.

We continue to advance across Eastern Canada with our multi-model diverse platform covering transportation segments, such as a Scheduled Line Run, Chartered Busing, Student Transportation, City and Rural Transit and Public Sectors.

Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible for provide customer service with primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Always provide superior customer service. Sell bus tickets and parcel shipments as needed. Assist Transit customers as needed.
  • Operate a computer, Point of Sales system, phones, email and other electronic devices as required
  • Provide customers with schedule times and assist the driver during bus arrival and departure times.
  • Ensure all required Terminal duties are carried out by the staff.
  • Support T3 transit operations or planning as needed
  • Complete work schedules for employees, with the expectation that if a shift is not covered you are responsible for covering it.
  • Resolve any customer service issues within your control and seek assistance from management as required.
  • Train and communicate any and all new initiatives as commissioned by the senior management team.
  • Ensure daily balancing of cash and Point of Sales systems and investigate overages and shortages.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Responsible to open and close terminal
  • Requires the ability to perform, multiple activities and initiatives and adapt to changing priorities on a day to day basis, while maintaining organization effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to understand a variety of computer programs
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs if needed and be somewhat flexible with days and hours
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times

Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed
