Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator / Shop Helper - Manufacturing

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Near Kennedy & Finch)

Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Fridays 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr

The role is based in a sheet metal manufacturing shop in Scarborough and focuses on supporting day-to-day fabrication operations. Duties include assisting with machine operation, material handling, paint prep, and other shop tasks as needed. The position works closely with the production team in a busy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various machines and presses within a metal manufacturing setting.
• Assist with different tasks across the shop.
• Working in the spray booth (prep and spraying).
• Organize and manage inventory.
• Perform additional tasks, including paint prep duties, as assigned.
• Regularly engage in heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift and handle loads up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

Work Environment:
You'll be working in a custom sheet metal manufacturing facility, handling diverse tasks and projects in a team-oriented atmosphere.
