Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.

We are currently recruiting for a National Sales Training Manager to lead the development and execution of our national sales training strategy. This position can be performed remotely from within Canada and will report to the Director of National Sales Training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building sales capability across the organization by developing and executing training programs that support our commercial priorities, strengthen selling skills, and improve sales execution. This role will work closely with Sales Leadership, Human Resources, Marketing, Brand, and other cross-functional teams to identify capability gaps and develop practical, field-focused solutions. The National Sales Training Manager will also provide leadership and direction to Divisional Trainers and ensure consistency in training, onboarding, coaching, and development across the country.

Responsabilités
  • Develop and execute a national sales training strategy aligned with business and commercial objectives
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to identify capability gaps and translate business priorities into actionable training and development initiatives
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of national sales training programs, content, tools, and resources
  • Lead and support Divisional Trainers to ensure consistent execution of field training, coaching, onboarding, and national training priorities
  • Own and continuously improve the national sales onboarding experience to ensure new employees have the knowledge, skills, and tools required to be successful
  • Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and field-based training focused on sales processes, selling skills, negotiation, portfolio selling, market management, and business development
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to support the development of high-performing employees and managers through coaching, field observation, and targeted development initiatives
  • Use field insights, sales data, and business performance information to identify training opportunities and measure the effectiveness of training programs
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Human Resources, Finance, and other business partners to ensure training supports national priorities and is aligned with the needs of the business
  • Lead training initiatives and support national sales meetings, regional meetings, leadership meetings, and other key business events
  • Promote continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and introduce new training techniques and approaches that enhance sales capability
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Sales, Sales Training, Learning & Development, CPG, Beverage, or a related industry
  • Proven experience developing and delivering effective sales training programs
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, selling skills, coaching, and field execution
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with Sales Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individuals and teams
  • Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect training initiatives to business performance
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Human Resources, or a related discipline
  • Experience within the beer, beverage, CPG, or consumer products industry is considered an asset
  • Experience working with distributor/wholesaler networks and/or managing field trainers is considered an asset

Additional Information

  • You can expect to travel up to 70% of the time in this role within Canada.
