Senior Associate – Finance

Verus provides CFO Services and Operational Support to companies pursuing next-stage investment readiness.

The role:
We're looking for an experienced Accounting Professional to help drive our business. You'll work closely with Verus' clients, learning their business and providing meaningful reporting and insight alongside a fractional CFO. Most of our clients are Real Estate, Construction, Biotechnology and Manufacturing based, so depth in those environments matters.

Key responsibilities:

› Build forecasts, cash-flow models, and ad-hoc reporting

› Run financial analysis and provide recommendations

› Lead client meetings and build relationships

› Review bookkeeping, month-end close, and accounting processes

› Prepare working papers for corporate year end

› Research and install standard operating procedures

› Work fluently in accounting and spreadsheet tools (Quickbooks, Sage, Excel)

Qualifications:

› 5-10 years industry/CPA firm experience

› Strong command of accounting standards and regulations

› CPA designation or equivalent experience

Work location: Hybrid: In-office, client site, remote.

Compensation: Competitive based on experience.
