As the organization continues to grow, Sea Centric is seeking a Manager, Marketing & Communications to join its leadership team.
The Manager, Marketing & Communications will lead the organization's brand, marketing, and communications initiatives, developing and executing integrated strategies that support business growth, enhance stakeholder engagement, and strengthen Sea Centric's reputation within the marine and offshore industries. Reporting to the President & COO, this role will work closely with leadership and business development teams to develop compelling messaging and marketing programs that showcase the company's capabilities, accomplishments, and expertise.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and creative marketing professional who enjoys balancing high-level planning with hands-on execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping Sea Centric's public profile while supporting the organization's continued expansion and industry leadership.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute Sea Centric's marketing and communications strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and growth plans.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on branding, messaging, market positioning, and public communications.
- Lead initiatives that increase brand awareness, industry presence, and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and strengthen Sea Centric's brand identity across all communications platforms and materials.
- Develop key messaging, executive presentations, annual reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage and enhance the company's website, social media channels, and digital marketing platforms.
- Create engaging content including articles, blogs, case studies, newsletters, videos, and promotional materials.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns supporting business development, recruitment, and corporate initiatives.
- Collaborate with business development and operational teams to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
- Develop proposals, capability statements, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Coordinate participation in trade shows, conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities.
- Serve as the organization's primary media contact and develop relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Draft press releases, speeches, announcements, and media statements.
- Support reputation management and crisis communications planning.
- Manage marketing budgets, agency relationships, and communication tools while monitoring performance and return on investment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, public relations, corporate affairs, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms, websites, digital campaigns, and marketing analytics.
- Proven ability to support business development initiatives through strategic communications and marketing programs.
- Experience working with executive leadership teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Strong interpersonal, project management, and relationship-building skills.
