General Labourer - Concrete Manufacturing

Job Title: Precast Labourer
Location: Kingston, ON
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Shifts: Rotating weekly between day shift and afternoon shift
Day Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 12:00pm to 8:30pm

We are looking for reliable and physically capable Labourers to support production in a busy manufacturing environment in Kingston. This role involves hands-on work with concrete products and is suited to someone who is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment . Previous experience in concrete, construction, manufacturing, or using hand and power tools is considered an asset, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare molds and forms for concrete production
• Assist with pouring, stripping, patching, and finishing concrete products
• Place reinforcement, inserts, and hardware as required
• Perform quality checks before and after concrete pours
• Mark products with required job details and specifications
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Assist with general production duties and plant cleanup
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Work with team members to meet daily production goals

Requirements:
• Previous construction, concrete, manufacturing, or general labour experience is considered an asset
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and using tools throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, hot, and fast-paced plant environment
• Forklift or crane experience is considered an asset, but not required
• Safety boots are required
