About the Role:
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to provide services to outpatient, acute and long-term care clients.
Potential areas of service include: preschool articulation, phonology, language, voice and fluency; post high school through adult articulation, language, voice and fluency as well as dysphagia assessment and intervention.
The successful applicant will work together with an interdisciplinary team as well as with Speech Language Pathologists in the region.
The incumbent will report directly to the Regional Manager, Developmental Health & Adult Speech and Hearing.
Job Demands:

Occasionally, there is lifting or physical strength required (i.e. lifting up to 25 lbs. while carrying boxes of resources/materials, flip charts and audio-visual equipment for group work activities)
Constantly sits to consult with clients
Conduct therapeutic sessions
Work on the computer or drive to meetings/home visits and,
Occasionally works in awkward or cramped body positions.
Job Qualifications:
Graduation with a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an approved/recognized program.
Current registration with the NL Council of Health Professionals is required.
Satisfactory Record of work performance and/or attendance
