Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the development and implementation of provincial interpretation and translation services within the Language Access and French Services Office. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the timely provision of interpretation services to patients and staff, thereby supporting the delivery of safe, equitable, and high-quality healthcare. This role will also ensure that processes are efficient, coordinated, and aligned with organizational standards for service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and oversee procedures for interpretation and translation requests, ensuring efficient coordination and service delivery.
• Support training of interpreters to meet growing demand and enhance service quality.
• Support and promote language access policies
• Engage with other health authorities across Canada to identify and integrate best practices in interpretation services.
• Provide training, consultation, and presentations to healthcare providers involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborate with French community organizations and other relevant partners, as required.
• Consult with stakeholders to ensure the accurate translation of patient information and education materials.
• Work with internal stakeholders on the translation of NLHS patient documents and resources.

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Commerce, Economics, Education, or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience within the last four working in a business environment performing evaluation, data assessment, and analysis is required.
• Fluent in French or other languages is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Demonstrated collaboration, superior oral and written communications skills, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and organize are required.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated individual leadership skills and autonomous critical thinking ability.
• Demonstrated time management skills as well as experience prioritizing and working in dynamic and collaborative environments.
• A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
