The New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission (NBLASC) is seeking individuals to join the Family Law Services Branch as a Legal Administrative Assistant in the Moncton Regional office on a one-year contract.

Family Law Services provides legal advice and legal representation to eligible individuals on family law matters.
What you will do:
As a Legal Administrative Assistant your responsibilities will include the following:
- Providing administrative support services including, but will not be limited to: drafting applications, motions, affidavits, trial records, and any other documents as requested;
- Managing client case files, schedules, and bring forward system;
- Liaising with clients, private bar, and other members of the justice system;
- Maintaining file management system;
- Scheduling client appointments;
- Answering routine calls and corresponding;
- Dealing with routine inquiries;
- Referring clients to appropriate services;
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
Need to have (Essential qualifications and skills):
- Completion of post-secondary training in a related field;
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience;
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage:
Salary and benefits will be commensurate with skill level and experience:
$2,008 - $2,439 biweekly - NBLASC CUPE Admin 2 pay scale
