PAL Aerospace is proud to partner with SkyAlyne , the prime contractor for the Future Aircrew Training ( FAcT ) Program —Canada's next-generation training initiative for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) . This transformative program will redefine how Canada trains its pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers (ACSOs) , and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators (AES Ops) through a powerful blend of live flying, advanced simulation, and classroom instruction.

PAL Aerospace is searching for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Programs team preferably based in our St. John's, NL .

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing andmaintainingrelationships with key stakeholders for government relations with regards to government funding opportunities.
  • Review all government funding documents, reports and correspondence for format, content, grammar, edits, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance to government regulations and requirements.
  • Planning,schedulingand managing tasks for upcoming and existing projects.
  • Assistingwith project reporting to senior management, external stakeholders, and clients.
  • Ensuring success of projects through thetimelycoordination of project events and communications.
  • Assistingin monitoring and reporting status of projects and progress against majormilestones andassistwith preventative/corrective action to ensuretimelydelivery.
  • Providing the necessary project oversight to ensure all deliverables are well coordinated and completed within the assigned target dates.
  • Managing andmaintainingproject management archived data and reports.
  • Effectively communicate analysis, including recommendations to Management, as necessary.
  • Producing data to supportproject coordination.
  • Acting as a resource for the technical aspects of projects and activities, asrequested.
  • Coordinate and attend project review meetings.
  • Develop meeting minutes andcapture action itemsfor follow-up.
  • Evaluating business processes,anticipatingrequirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and proposing solutions.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuringtimelycompletion of projects.
  • Provide project administrative support asrequired.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Business or a related subject is considered an asset.
  • Direct work experience in project management is preferred.
  • Project management certification and/or PMP certification are considered an asset.
  • Experience working with internal and external stake holders of diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with project delivery, execution, and use of project management methods.
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff.
  • Problem identification and resolution skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Highlevelproficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Power BI, and SharePoint.

Security Responsibilities:

Incumbent must be able to obtain the required level of Government of Canada Personnel Security Clearance.
