As the Head Chef at our esteemed establishment in Toronto, Ontario, you will play a pivotal role in leading our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. This permanent, full-time position is integral to our commitment to excellence in the hospitality and catering industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Control food costs and manage inventory to optimise profitability.
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events and catering services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and storage areas.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar executive culinary role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
