Salary range: $57,316.26 to $70,267.18 annually
Reporting to the Manager, Libraries & Learning Commons, the Testing Services Coordinator will:
- Provide functional leadership to the Learning Commons Assistants/Test Centre Administrators (LCA/TCAs), located at campuses across the province.
- Develop and maintains procedures, in collaboration with the Manager, to ensure effective and consistent practices at testing centre locations.
- Liaise with external testing partners to ensure effective delivery and support for external testing. This includes delivery of testing for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC).
- Support the technology needs of testing services, in collaboration with other College departments such as facilities and Digital Innovation & Technology.
- Design and delivers training for LCA/TCAs to support orientation and on-going professional development.
- Support evidence-based decision making by maintaining and analyzing testing centre usage statistics.
- Provide input into policies and procedures to uphold academic integrity related to testing services.
Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a diploma in Education, Technology, Administrative, Business, Social Services, Library Technician
- A minimum of two years of recent occupational experience in communications, testing or assessment environments, program administration and/or event management.
- Experience working with systems that manage staff and/or student information
- Demonstrated experience using applications such as Office 365 (ex. Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Learning Management Systems (ex. Brightspace)
- Experience working in a post-secondary education setting would be considered an asset
- Demonstrated experience providing guidance and support to staff requiring assistance with systems and processes.
- Demonstrated experience leading groups, with a strong ability to motivate, organize, and coordinate teams
