Currently, we have an opening for a full-time seasonal Chief Engineer at our processing facility located in St. Anthony, NL.

Reporting to the plant manager, the successful candidate will be part of an engineering team, working rotating shifts on a predetermined schedule. The candidate will:

• Safely operate and maintain the company refrigeration and ice systems in accordance with the Boiler & Pressure Vessel Act and Regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair in a safe, orderly, and timely manner
• Operate and maintain refrigeration ammonia system
• Be familiar with regulations of department of labour, pressure vessel branch

The position requires the individual to be knowledgeable working with ammonia and freon systems, competent working with technical equipment and able to complete tasks independently. All eligible candidates will be required to possess a minimum 3rd Class power engineering Certificate with work-related technical experience, or a Refrigeration 'A' ticket.
