McInnes Cooper's Marketing & Business Development team is seeking a full-time, permanent Marketing Coordinator to join our Halifax office.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Advertising and Branding
- Collaborates within the marketing team to coordinate long term planning, leading to the completion of projects and tasks; performing quality assurance throughout;
- Provides input into the creative planning of brand messaging and promotional assets, including general advertising and event promotion and sponsorship materials;
- Explores new ways to develop promotional assets as the legal services industry continues to evolve; keeping pulse on industry trends and bringing ideas forward;
- Assists with planning and monitoring of annual promotional budget;
- Maintains marketing materials and collateral, ensuring uniformity and brand alignment with logos and taglines;
- Designs and plans layouts for a variety of assets (publications, event invitations, social posts);
- Administers and distributes all email campaigns for the firm;
- Collaborates, edits and produces video and photo content for external and internal purposes;
- Maintains templates, and design elements in Adobe Creative Library; and,
- Website + Bio Management
- Managing and updating website content, including lawyer and staff profiles
- Ensuring pages align with firm positioning and SEO/searchability needs
Proposals Pitch Materials
- Templates, designs and creates visual elements of proposals; and,
- Maintains Adobe visual library.
Photography
- Collaborate with Professional Resources to coordinate photoshoots for new hires as well as perform limited photography for profiles and website; and ,
- Edits photographic content for various media.
Other
- Leading all webinars, coordination, training, recording and distribution of related materials, reporting and analysis;
- Supports social media in the absence of the lead for these processes;
- Assists with special projects and performs other related duties as assigned; and
- Looks after and manages the Net Promoter Score program, gathering client feedback, testimonials and their use across internal and external channels.
The successful candidate will possess a combination of the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with concentration in related discipline (Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism);
- 3-5 years of related experience in a similar role;
- Strong organization / administrative skills and technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and,
- Working knowledge of Google My Business, Content Management Tools (social and email) and Adobe Cloud.
- 1-2 years social media management;
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Cloud and CRM systems;
- Experience with web-publishing and image editing software packages; and,
- Photography and Photoshop experience.
An alternative combination of technical competencies may be deemed equivalent.
