This position is for our Topsail Store.
As a Store Manager you are the operational and people leader of your location. You own the customer experience, the team culture, inventory accuracy, and overall store performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned retail manager who thrives on responsibility, leadership, and building strong teams.
This is not a cannabis-knowledge role - it's a retail leadership role. Product training is provided.
Retail Leadership & Team Development
- Coach, mentor, and support retail staff through regular feedback and performance conversations
- Support hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling
- Model best-in-class retail practices and coach the team to do the same
- Develop a high-performing retail team
- Set clear expectations and lead performance management conversations
- Build schedules and manage labour budgets effectively
- Act as the primary point of contact between retail staff and Head Office
Customer Experience& Brand Leadership
- Lead the store as a brand ambassador for Atlantic Cannabis
- Handle escalated customer concerns with confidence and professionalism
- Support community involvement and local initiatives
- Ensure a welcoming, inclusive and engaging in-store experience
- Lead the team to build strong relationships with customers and the local community
- Support merchandising, promotions, and in-store initiatives
Inventory & Operations
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and point-of-sale systems
- Lead inventory counts, receiving, transfers, and product preparation
- Support loss prevention and inventory controls
- Ensure opening/closing procedures and daily store operations are executed correctly
Compliance & Standards
- Be a champion of company policies and procedures
- Ensure regulatory requirements and store standards are consistently met
- Be the benchmark for professionalism, accuracy, and accountability on the floor
Store Operations
- Own day-to-day store operations and operational readiness
- Ensure inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and stock flow
- Oversee receiving, transfers, counts, and regulatory logs
- Ensure opening/closing procedures and store standards are met consistently

Experienced in:
- Customer-focused retail
- Leading, coaching and mentoring fellow-employees
- Inventory management and reporting
- Operating a POS system
- Excel, Word and Outlook
