The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Junior Investments Analyst to join our Investments Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining service standards and providing analytical support to the Investments team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in St. John's, NL.

Your key activities will include:

• Monitor and evaluate external public market managers against benchmarks, peers, and mandate objectives
• Analyze performance and attribution to identify key drivers of returns and risk exposures
• Support ongoing investment manager oversight, including maintaining scorecards and monitoring compliance
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on new and existing managers
• Prepare regular investment reports, performance summaries, and briefing materials for internal stakeholders
• Perform market and macro research to contextualize portfolio and manager performance
• Assist in the development of investment insights and recommendations for portfolio decision-making
• Maintain and validate portfolio, benchmark, and performance data using industry data platforms
• Collaborate with senior team members on manager reviews and investment strategy discussions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting tools, dashboards, and oversight processes

What you'll bring to the role

• A post-secondary degree in finance, business administration, economics, commerce, or related field
• A minimum of one-year of direct investment experience
• Completion of, or progress toward the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be considered an asset
• Strong research, analytical and writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,700
