Position Overview:

The purpose of the Program Controller is to provide dedicated support to the Program Manager and Program Management Organization and Matrix staff through the provision of reports for the effective management of the performance-based contract. The Program Controller will be responsible for keeping internal and external customers informed on contracted outputs, principally through the medium of secure site web-based information tools, charts and reports.

What You Will Do:
  • Act as a liaison between Program Analysts and management, providing data and analysis of procedures and workflows.
  • Take the lead in the development and production of the weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports, tasking Program Analysts as required.
  • Provide and upkeep program information on the IMP OWSS secure website.
  • Provide briefings and slide presentations as required to colleagues, customers and senior staff as required.
  • Support the development of program and logistics milestones.
  • Advise the PM on all supportability issues to the accomplishment of the program.
  • Write, or assist in writing and updating of company standard plant procedures as required.
  • Liaise with all branches and external customers for the purpose of fulfilling the job purpose.
What You Will Bring:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical or business-related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively and diplomatically with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Write in a clear, concise and well organized manner applicable to the target audience.
  • Very Competent with MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook.
    Advanced skills in Microsoft Project.
  • Functional understanding of statistics and dataset analysis (using MS Excel and Microsoft PowerBi).
  • An understanding of methodologies for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating relevant information.
  • Functional understanding of SQL, Python, R, Machine Learning, Data Warehousing, Data Mining, and Data Modeling is considered an asset.
  • Ability to use web-based systems and file structures to be able to host information on the developed website.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies. Continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement, Lean & 5S activities in your area.
    Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
