Job Title: Business Development & Account Manager

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year, plus bonuses and commission

Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Development & Account Manager to join our Brampton team. This role is focused on growing our client base, supporting existing accounts, and working closely with our recruitment and branch teams to deliver staffing solutions across Kingston and the surrounding area.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with business development, client communication, follow-up, and relationship building. This role requires someone who can balance sales activity with account management, branch support, and a strong understanding of client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through proactive B2B outreach, follow-up, and relationship building
  • Manage and support existing client accounts while maintaining strong service levels and client retention
  • Act as a key contact for client communication, service updates, and issue resolution
  • Work closely with the recruitment and branch teams to understand client needs and support timely placement activity
  • Develop and execute sales and recruitment strategies tailored to client requirements
  • Prepare professional sales presentations, proposals, and documentation for prospects and existing clients
  • Track sales activity, client communication, and performance metrics for weekly branch reporting
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and local hiring trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Support branch goals through consistent outreach, client visits, follow-up calls, and account development
  • Represent Advantage Personnel with professionalism, urgency, and strong customer service
  • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring follow-up and client commitments are completed on time

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a sales-focused, account management, business development, or client service role
  • Staffing industry experience is considered an asset but is not required
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls, booking client meetings, and developing new business opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Professional, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with internal systems and general office software
  • Reliable access to a personal vehicle is required for local travel
