Class 1 Driver

Job Title: Class 1 Driver
Location: Saint John, New Brunswick
Shift: Flexible shifts available Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Job Information:
We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safe driving habits, and the ability to work independently while ensuring timely and professional deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Transport materials and goods to various locations in a timely manner
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license
• Clean driver's abstract preferred
• 2+ years' experience as a Class 1 driver
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently
• Responsible, professional, punctual, and reliable
• Strong knowledge of transportation safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to lift and move materials when required
• Strict adherence to health and safety practices
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed
