Job Title: Industrial Painter
Location: Uptown - Saint John, NB
Shift/Hours: Full Time - 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00/Hour

Advantage Personnel is seeking dedicated and experienced Painters to join our customer's growing team. This role requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.

As an Industrial Painter with our customer, you will be responsible for applying paint, stains, and coatings to both interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, sand, and prime surfaces as needed to ensure proper paint adhesion.
• Ensure tools, supplies, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Touch up areas to ensure consistency and perfection.
• Ensure the proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials, and wear protective gear when necessary.
• Work with other painters and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional Industrial Painter.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and the use of different paint types and coatings.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
• Ability to stand for long periods, work at heights (e.g., ladders, scaffolding), and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites. A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Must pass a background check.
