Student Recruitment is multifaceted team with significant responsibilities to plan and execute initiatives and tactics in support of UNB's recruitment strategies and goals for both domestic and international student recruitment.

Salary Range: $41,826 - $52,284 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the On-Campus Recruiter is responsible for planning and implementing the campus tour program. This position will have a close working relationship with other members of the recruitment team, faculties and departments on the Fredericton and Saint John campuses. This position assists the Client Service team in providing ongoing, timely, and personalized communication to undergraduate prospective students, applicants, parents, and other key stakeholders including high school guidance counsellors, throughout the inquiry to application process.
- Organize and conduct tours of the Saint John campus with undergraduate prospective students daily, occasionally six days a week.
- Data entry of prospective student information.
- Liaise with residence staff, faculties, and departments involved with the campus tour program.
- Conduct and manage follow-up tour evaluations.
- Develop and implement an annual plan for an innovative and professional campus tour program for UNB.
- Assist in monitoring the tour program budget.
- Develop tour guide script, handbooks, and hand-outs.
- Recruit current student ambassadors to assist the tour program.
- Manage all campus tour program reporting, including bi-weekly, monthly, and annual tour program reports, with the assistance of other Client Service personnel.
- Follow prospective students through inquiry to enrolment, developing a relationship by responding to their needs and communicating with them as required.
- Assist with prospective student inquiries using a variety of media such as e-mail, telephone, fax, mail, in-person, packing and mailing of information kits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of innovative recruitment initiatives and events both on and off campus.
- Assist other recruitment and client service staff in the execution of their responsibilities as needed.
- Perform general office, administrative, and other duties as required.

- A recent graduate of UNB.

- Knowledge of UNB.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills are a must.
- Experience in client service with a "can do" client service attitude.
- Proactive and self-motivated. Proven ability to meet deadlines and provide quick reactions to requests.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and conducting tours.
- Ability to work well with high school and university students.
- Proficient with computers, including Windows environment, email programs, internet browsers, word-processing and spreadsheets.
