Job Summary
As part of a team in the Medical Services Department your responsibilities will be streamlined to support one or more core functions within the department, which include physician recruitment and retention; physician wellness; credentialing and quality; physician contracts; and finance. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that appropriate processes are followed for hiring, credentialing, remunerating, and supporting the practice quality of physicians on behalf of NLHS. You will be required to maintain reports, process hiring, credentialing, and financial documents, and partner with external stakeholders to ensure licensing standards are met across the organization.
This position will work to support the department provincially, but may shift to support specific zones as needed and based on need/priority. The incumbent may be assigned other duties as needed and determined by the Medical Services leadership team.
Job Qualifications
Education
Completion of a recognized/approved three-year Business Management Program (HR Concentration preferred).
Courses and proficiency in MS Office, Internet and various other computer applications are required.
Experience
A minimum of three years' experience within the last five in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Considerable experience meeting deadlines, while maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
Experience in HR Technology, database management would be an asset.

Knowledge of organizational internal/external contacts at the Executive level.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
