Expression of Interest: RN/LPN Casual Secondary Instructor Northwood Career College CCA Program

Northwood Career College is inviting expressions of interest from Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a casual secondary instructor role in the delivery of the CCA program at our Beaver Bank college campus. This casual role offers part-time hours during program delivery.

The Secondary Instructor will:

Support Primary CCA Instructor

Key requirements to be outlined during initial planning, which will also confirm dates and times based on program needs, for the following:

× Assisting in the delivery of CCA courses, simulations, and labs

× Assisting in student lab skill performance assessments

× Supervising students in clinical placement

Provide coverage for the Primary CCA Instructor during sick leave and vacation days, ensuring continuity of instruction and support for students.

Adhere to all policies and procedures of the CCA Program and Northwood Career

Instructor Requirements/Experience

• Minimun 5 Years RN/ LPN (currently licensed and in good standing)
• Minimun 2 Years teaching experience
• Experience teaching adult learners
• Experience with the CCA Program
• Complete Instructor Orientation
• Adult Education Certificate or another qualifying education certificate/diploma
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• Motivated and dependable
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
