Atlantic Growth Solutions is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Senior Director of Recruiting to lead and grow our recruiting practice with a focus on outbound business development and client acquisition. This is a high-impact, revenue-generating leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of recruiting and sales.
You will be responsible for sourcing and closing new clients, managing end-to-end recruiting engagements, and building strong, consultative relationships with decision-makers in B2B companies.
This is not a traditional internal recruitment role. Instead, we are looking for a recruiting leader with the drive, business savvy, and closing ability to independently win new accounts, build lasting partnerships, and deliver top-tier talent solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify, engage, and close new business opportunities through outbound outreach (cold email, LinkedIn, calls, referrals, partnerships).
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective B2B clients in key industries (ex: SaaS, tech).
- Lead discovery calls, consultative sales conversations, and management of sales cycle.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and KPIs related to outreach, conversion rates, and client retention.
Recruiting Strategy & Delivery
- Oversee recruiting engagements from kickoff to placement, managing all client relationships
- Provide hands-on recruiting support in the form of candidate sourcing, where needed, particularly for executive or hard-to-fill roles.
- Act as a strategic advisor to clients on talent market trends, hiring plans, and candidate engagement.
- Ensure a high-quality experience for both clients and candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in B2B recruiting, with a demonstrated ability to engage with hiring managers, fill roles efficiently, and deliver high-value recruiting services.
- Proven success in sales or business development, especially in a talent services, agency recruiting, or consulting context.
- Strong skills in outbound prospecting, client engagement, and contract negotiation.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of independence and accountability in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using modern sales and recruiting tech stacks (e.g., CRMs, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, etc.)
- Extensive candidate and client contact network
- Previous Agency experience preferred
