The Opportunity

Temporary until August 2026.

This position is responsible for leading and overseeing the Application Support team and ensuring the enhancement and efficient operation of critical systems such as GIS, Asset Management, Outage Management and Workforce Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Application Support team in developing solutions and process improvements that support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee project execution, coordinate team activities, and ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the maintenance and enhancement of operational technologies and applications, including but not limited to Geographic Information System (GIS), Asset Management, Workforce Management, AVL, and Outage Management systems.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in strategic road mapping to align activities with long-term business goals.
  • Provide support to other Operations groups as needed.

Your qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology or Business.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in utility operations.
  • Previous leadership experience, knowledge and familiarity with electric distribution systems, components and function is preferred.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of standard Office applications, work management applications, and operational applications.
  • Ability to execute function with accuracy and attention to detail in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational and coaching skills.
