The Opportunity

Company, Department: Nova Scotia Power, Business Transformation

Location: Halifax, NS

Type of Employment: Full-Time, Project Term 12 months

Closing Date: August 8, 2025

Nova Scotia Power is seeking a Change Analyst to support the successful delivery of change management activities for the ERP Program. Reporting to the Change Manager, the role will focus on communications, stakeholder engagement, training coordination, and tracking change impacts across the organization.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about enabling change in a collaborative, fast-paced environment


Key elements of this role include:
  • Supporting the delivery of the change management strategy and plans
  • Assisting the Change Manager and Change Management Specialists with planning, tracking, and delivery of change activities
  • Supporting impact assessments, readiness tracking, and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Drafting and coordinating internal communications, including email updates, intranet content, and presentations
  • Coordinating logistics for change-related meetings, change network activities, and workshops
  • Maintaining change tracking tools such as impact logs, stakeholder maps, action registers, and communications calendars
  • Monitoring feedback and risks related to change adoption and escalating issues as needed
  • Summarizing feedback from engagement sessions, training, and communications to inform planning
  • Preparing presentation materials, reports, dashboards, and status updates for stakeholders
  • Providing general administrative and coordination support to the Change, Training, and Communications teams

These skills will make you successful:
  • Degree or diploma in Communications, Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience supporting change initiatives, preferably in a project environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); familiarity with SharePoint and project tools
  • Knowledge of change management principles (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) considered an asset
  • Experience in utilities, ERP, or large-scale system implementations is a bonus
