???? Now Hiring: Nurse Manager (2 Full-Time & 1 Part-Time Positions)


Location: Berwick, Nova Scotia
Department: Nursing / Administration
Reports to: Assistant Director of Care - Direct Care
Union Status: Non-Unionized

Rate of pay: $36.9803 hourly

Grand View Manor is excited to recruit dynamic and compassionate Nurse Managers to join our leadership team. We currently have two full-time (1.0 FTE) and one part-time (0.5 FTE) permanent positions available.

As a Nurse Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in delivering safe, resident-centered, and ethical care. You'll support a team of RNs, LPNs, and CCAs, and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to enhance the health and wellbeing of those who call Grand View Manor home.

???? What You'll Do:

Lead, mentor, and evaluate front-line nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CCAs).

Promote high standards of clinical care and nursing practice.

Support a collaborative environment with physicians, allied health professionals, and families.

Contribute to policy development and continuous quality improvement.

Participate in strategic planning and decision-making within the Nursing Leadership team.

Handle staff scheduling, timecards, performance reviews, coaching, and discipline.

Actively support safe staffing, professional development, and return-to-work programs.

Oversee specialized care plans, palliative care, risk meetings, and interRAI assessments.

Liaise with internal and external care partners and specialists.

Uphold Grand View Manor's values of respect, compassion, equity, and inclusion.

? What You Bring:

Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.

Minimum 5 years of nursing experience (long-term care or geriatrics preferred).

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency with electronic documentation systems (e.g., Catalyst, Momentum).

Experience navigating the Nova Scotia healthcare system.

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead through change in a fast-paced environment.

A collaborative spirit and a commitment to person-centered care.

Physical ability to meet job demands (standing, lifting up to 35 lbs).

Regulatory knowledge and advocacy for best practice care.
