People & Culture Coordinator - Full Time - Windsor

Hours: Monday to Friday (9:00AM to 5:00PM)
Location: Windsor, Ontario (with travel to various Ontario branches such as Sarnia & Thunderbay)
Internal Posting Date: July 8th, 2025

We are looking for a highly motivated People and Culture Coordinator to support our Windsor, Thunderbay and Sarnia branches with full cycle recruitment efforts. This position requires flexibility and the ability to travel on short notice, depending on the locations of the supported branches.

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Full-cycle recruitment
  • Coordinating onboarding and training
  • Providing employee care and retention
  • Design and implement employee reward & recognition ideas
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Ensure statutory compliances are met such as licenses, and Employment Standards legislation
  • Administer various HR software programs
  • Maintains accurate tracking of uniform inventory
  • Assist with the administration of the Employee Benefits Program
  • Ensures that all the personnel files are kept up to date and confidential
  • Coordinates assignments for training and orientation classes; keeps track and ensures all employees receive adequate training
  • Travel will be required across other branches 0-25% (Sarnia & Thunderbay)
  • Travel will be required for Recruitment Events such as Job Fairs on a monthly basis. Eligible to reimburse mileage expense
  • Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or education relative to job description
  • Demonstrated expertise in MS Office suite of products and database maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ongoing interest in training and personal development
    Problem solving and conflict resolution ability
  • Flexibility to travel to different branches
  • A positive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and changing demands.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
Qualifications
Certificate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related) field
