Under the guidance of the VP of Supply Chain and Service, the Branch Manager will spearhead the daily activities of the branch. You'll collaborate closely with your team to address challenges, identify operational enhancements, and engage with pivotal stakeholders at our head office. Your key role will involve bolstering the sales team, aligning efforts to meet sales targets. Embracing our culture of continuous development, you'll prioritize staff growth and contribute to shaping the company's cultural trajectory.
Responsibilities:
- Define and achieve budget targets encompassing revenue, margins, operational costs, occupancy costs, administration costs, and employee expenses.
- Champion account managers and service technician, propelling them to realize revenue and margin goals.
- Oversee service and technician team to drive optimal service and repair.
- Efficiently manage and coordinate service, work orders and essential supplies, equipment.
- Manage relationship and collaborate with primary and secondary suppliers.
- Continuously analyze and assess activities, costs, operations, budgets, and forecast data to gauge branch progression toward strategic goals.
- Collaborate with accounts receivable, credit management, and operations to steer accounts receivable activities.
- Spearhead annual budget planning, commencing each October
- Promote service and products through Account Managers.
- Establish and develop strong relationship with the other service groups including cross training of staff.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge in safety valve assembly & repair, understanding code / QA requirements a must
- 5+ years of experience supervising in an industrial environment
- Post secondary education
- Strong mechanical/technical background
- Solid business and sales acumen
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments
- Proactive, motivated, and professional self-starter
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
- Team player with a collaborative mindset
Working conditions
