The Chapman Group is excited to be assisting Bayshore HealthCare in finding their next Human Resources Manager for Southern New Brunswick!
We're looking for an HR leader who's driven by people and purpose, someone who understands the impact of the care we provide and the incredible people delivering it every day. This role goes beyond managing processes, it's about supporting those who care for others.
Reporting to the Area Director and working closely with the National HR Business Partner, the Human Resources Manager supports the full range of HR operations at the branch level. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, performance, and compliance with a strong focus on building supportive, people-first practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for Field and Administrative staff, from screening and interviews to onboarding and reference checks
- Facilitate Information Sessions and oversee onboarding processes, documentation, and employee file management
- Support benefits administration, LOA tracking, payroll and employment-related inquiries
- Maintain up-to-date electronic HR files, licenses, reviews, and training records
- Coordinate employee engagement and recognition activities
- Manage WSIB claims, incident reporting, and modified work programs
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies
- Support performance management, employee relations, and corrective action as needed
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure staffing levels and branch needs are met
- Participate in branch committees and health & safety programs
- Provide administrative supervision and support to office operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized HR Certificate or Diploma (CHRP in progress is an asset)
- 3-5 years of HR experience in recruitment, performance management, and WSNB
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, HRIS, and applicant tracking systems
