Job Title : Office Experience Administrator (One-Year Term)
Location: St John's, NL
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hourly Rate: $22-25
Our client is seeking an Office Experience Administrator to join their team for a one-year term! In this dual focused role, you'll support the People & Culture team with HR administration while also managing key aspects of their day-to-day office operations.
This role reports to the Director, People & Culture and plays a vital part in ensuring both the employees and office environment thrive. If you're motivated, proactive, and ready to make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities: HR Administration Support
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Support end- of-the- end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate learning & development activities, including scheduling and tracking training.
- Administer employee benefits processes, including enrollments and changes.
- Assist with the performance management process and documentation.
- Monitor HR processes for compliance with internal controls.
- Provide support for other HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Key Responsibilities : Facilities & Office Management
- Assist with office space planning and coordination of seating and layout.
- Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a clean, productive workspace.
- Liaise with vendors for office maintenance, repairs, supplies, and services.
- Oversee key distribution and access control for the office.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business ( concentration in Human Resources )
- Foundational understanding of HR principles and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Experience with ADP / Workforce Now is an asset.
- Experience in a unionized environment is also considered an asset.
