Position: Full Time Security Guard

Site: Huron Lodge

Site Address: 1881 Cabana Road, West, Windsor, ON N9G 1C7

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement – calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly

Hours: Monday - Wednesday 1400-2200hrs

Payrate: $18.00/hr

Job Description:
Monitor visitor accessibility (ensuring all sign in and out)
Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols (using pipe tracking system) (Each round is 30 to 40 minutes in length)
Monitor video feed
Respond to alarm / distress calls
Escort residents, visitors, employees (as required)
Assist with key control (sign in / out)
Provide access as required
Any additional duties as requested by the client
Requirements:

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
• Strong leadership, organization and facilitation skills
• Strategic Thinking
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong customer service and multi-tasking skills
• Creative ability to foster new and innovative ways to perform and succeed
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and flexibility in time allocation.
• Proficiency in Computer Usage, with an ability to learn Paladin's Enterprise software
• Experience in scheduling, administration or security supervision would be considered an asset
• Be willing to work flexible hours
• Must provide proof of double vaccination
• Experience with ADP and/or WinTeam Scheduling Software a definite asset
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and flexibility in time allocation

Prerequisites:

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
