Job Title: Carpenter

Location: Saint John, New Brunswick

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $ 23.00 / hr -$2 8.00 / hr

Job Information:

We're looking for a dedicated and hardworking Carpenter to join our team ! Preferably at least a 3 rd or 4 th year apprentice . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a solid understanding of construction techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as framing, cabinetry, flooring, and trim

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans

- Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and safely

- Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time

- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

- 3 + years of carpentry

- Ability to work as a team and/or independently

- Responsible, professional, punctual and reliable

- An eye for a very high level to detail

- Strict adherence to health and safety practices

- Valid Class 5 drivers' license preferred

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery

- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes

- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
