About the Role
This position will be responsible for:
Leads, oversees, plans and organizes activities related to the ongoing development and support of
CRMS such as governance, subject matter issues, change management, communications, and policy
development and ensures alignment with the vision of the Centre and overall provincial health care
system.
Develops annual budget, monitors financial activities and reports significant variances while demonstrating sound fiscal management.
Builds and maintains effective stakeholder relationships with the Regional Health Authorities, vendor personnel, and Centre staff in the deployment, support and configuration of multiple programs within
NL.
Oversees the development and delivery of training programs to ensure appropriate content and educators are involved to enable stakeholders to properly use the required solution.
Oversees the daily operations of CRMS and ensures compliance with provincial policies and applicable regulatory standards, system integrity, development of efficient workflow, operational processes, support and troubleshooting of problems and preventative maintenance.
Leads the development and implementation of communication plans that promote awareness of provincial program.
Provides leadership to provincial and regional working groups responsible for the development and ongoing sustainability of program guidelines, training, privacy, security and other related activities.
Oversees the development and management of an ongoing continuous quality improvement process
by overseeing the utilization of the provincial Governance Accountability Framework, leading ongoing
monitoring and maintenance of procedures and developing and monitoring provincial program
metrics through the use of management tools to optimize quality and appropriate use of information. expenses, exclude capital expenditures.
Oversees the development and deployment of provincial program policies and guidelines and informs
and advises partners regarding current trends, challenges and activities which affect policy.
Leads the selection and implementation of appropriate standards for provincial eHealth solutions by developing, influencing and/or participating in national/international eHealth standards initiatives while continuing to monitor and evaluate the uptake and compliance to selected standards and established protocols. Ensures appropriate governance processes are in place to facilitate the ongoing integrity and sustainability of standards adopted/adapted/developed for use in provincial eHealth solutions.
Plans and manages divisional staff by ensuring compliance with proper human resource management policies and procedures in recruitment, performance management and employee relations issues.
About You
Your Experience and Education
Degree in a health related field preferred.
Knowledge of the provincial health system; specifically in relation to CRMS and other systems supporting delivery of care in community health
5 years??? experience working within provincial health system.
2 years on the job learning to be fully effective in the role.
