Reporting to the Provincial Manager of Student and Volunteer Services, this position will oversee the everyday functionality of provincial student clinical placement and HSPnet operations. The HSPnet Coordinator is responsible for the administration of clinical placements for unpaid students using the HSPnet system. This role serves as a key liaison between students, faculty, clinical sites, and NLHS employees, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the placement processes
Oversee and manage student placements within the HSPnet system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in assignment and scheduling.
Serve as the primary point of contact for students, healthcare providers, and faculty regarding placements.
Ensure that all necessary documentation and prerequisites for placements are met and tracked.
Troubleshoot and resolve placement issues, ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records and produce reports on placement data for auditing and quality assurance purposes.
Provide training and support to NLHS employees, students and faculty on using the HSPnet platform.
Provide administrative support for the Student Services Department
Performs other related duties.

Qualifications:
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration program OR completion of a one-year Office Administration program from an approved/recognized college supplemented by two years? experience within the last four in a progressively responsible clerical role is required. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
*Proof of a current office administration program is required. To be considered current, this must have been completed within the last five years, unless it has been used in recent positions. This must be demonstrated on the application form.
Remote work may be possible.
