The opportunity
We currently have career opportunities for Managers in our Canadian banking technology consulting team. Our team works to build a better world by transforming businesses through the potential of our people, technology, and innovation. We work collaboratively with some of the top executives in financial institutions of all sizes and scales, helping them create and realize the best solutions for the future of their business. Each project is different, so you'll need to be able to excel in ambiguous situations and confidently navigate ever-changing circumstances. We'll look to you to be a self-starter, have the ability to translate complex information into simple terms, and deliver long-term solutions with confidence. On this team, you'll have the unique opportunity to imagine the future as well as create it, where you can craft ideas and implement them for our clients.
Your key responsibilities
As a manager, you will advise clients and guide teams with the support of EY professionals with deep industry knowledge and experience. You will have a leadership role in the development of business led technology strategies, execution of large-scale, multi-year engagements, building customer relationships and leading team development. This role spans topics across data, technology and may include opportunities to leverage strategic alliances with third parties to deliver strategic transformations with a focus on Credit Unions in the Canadian Financial Services sector.

Experience in business development or delivering against financial targets in a service-oriented context is a plus. Demonstrated teaming, project management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skill and the willingness and ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision. You enjoy working with large teams in complex contexts, delivering strategic technology-enabled transformations and major digital implementations.
- Coaching mindset. Build and mentor junior team members by acting as a coach, fostering a culture of continuous learning and guiding them to solve problems and manage deliverables.
- Great communicators. Communication and storytelling are key — we strive to bring our best interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, whether we're running workshops, building a proposal, drafting an architecture diagram, or cutting code. We're looking for someone who can facilitate and co-create solutions with clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Experience and appetite for learning. We're looking for individuals with relevant experience or education in technology, engineering, computer science, data, or other related fields. We are also open to candidates who can demonstrate a strong aptitude for technology and structured problem solving.
- Typically, successful candidates have 5+ years of experience in Consulting or similar project-based organizations with client facing delivery.
- Experience in business and technology modernization across strategy, planning, and delivery and strong experiential knowledge in delivery methodologies.
- Experience in conducting analysis of client requirements translating them into actionable strategies working with cross-functional teams.
- An ability to work with clients at all levels from executive to delivery teams.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
