Your Contribution

As Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, you will contribute to Englobe's inorganic growth strategy. Reporting to the SVP, M&A and Strategic Initiatives, you will help evaluate and lead the execution of strategic add-on acquisition opportunities that align with Englobe's mission to build a sustainable future—one project at a time. You will work cross-functionally with executive leadership, legal, finance, HR, and operations to ensure a seamless transaction experience for our acquired entities - from start to finish.

Your main responsibilities

  • Assist in further developing and refining Englobe's M&A roadmap in alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Evaluate potential acquisition targets across Canada.
  • Build relationships with industry stakeholders, advisors, and potential partners.
  • Lead internal and external due diligence teams to assess financial, operational, legal, tax and HR/cultural fit.
  • Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the executive committee and Board of Directors.
  • Negotiate deal terms, transaction documents and coordinate closing activities with legal and financial advisors.

Your Profile

What makes you unique

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business or related field.
  • 6 years of experience in M&A, corporate development, private equity or investment banking.
  • Proven track record of leading or participating in M&A deal execution
  • Very strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills, with a particular emphasis on attention to detail while juggling multiple work streams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis/modeling and valuation principles.
