About the Role:
Waterfront Computer Company Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Sydney, NS. The successful candidate will provide front-line technical support and solutions to our clients, both in-store and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (Windows, macOS, printers, NAS, firewalls, routers)
· Provide remote, in-person, and onsite support for clients
· Configure and maintain Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, and cloud solutions
· Set up and document network devices, workstations, and applications
· Maintain detailed service records and IT documentation
· Train end-users on basic IT functionality and usage
Qualifications & Experience:
· Post-secondary diploma in IT field or Bachelors Degree
· Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support experience
· Strong knowledge of PC/laptop hardware, networking, OS, and software setup
· Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
· Nice to have CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ or CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Windows Server Administration
· Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
