About the Role
The CorCare Change Management, Communication and Training team is responsible for engaging, enabling, training and supporting the readiness and adoption of the new product. The Training team is responsible for developing, providing, and maintaining an educational program that meets the needs of end users to effectively use the system in their daily work.
This position will report to the CorCare Training Manager, in close collaboration with the Chief Medical Information Office (CMIO). The CorCare Specialist Training Coordinator will coordinate provider (physician and nurse practitioner) training and support activities, maintain the training schedule and assist with management of training site logistics to ensure end users are trained prior to launch of CorCare. The CorCare Specialist Training Coordinator is a highly motivated and engaged individual who will support the utilization of CorCare by ensuring curriculum and training content is uploaded, maintained, and accessible.
Main Responsibilities
- Effectively support training activities for CorCare which includes but is not limited to:
- Assisting in the planning and scheduling of provider training sessions and development of class schedules for Specialist Trainers (STs)
- Performing administrative duties in the Learning Management System (LMS) and reporting on registration and training milestones to physician leaders and support teams, in collaboration with the training management team
- Ensuring registration for training sessions for providers (both in-person and virtual) are completed in the LMS
- Facilitating provider education on how to register for training and access training resources in the LMS, in collaboration with the Training and LMS Coordinator
- Support provider training coordination and operational effectiveness by:
- Meeting timelines and milestones for all assigned work and escalating delays or challenges as appropriate
- Remaining flexible in supporting unscheduled training requests, as needed
- Communicating requests for curriculum updates to the training team and ensuring all required materials are available for the end users
- Monitoring the effectiveness of training programs by:
- Monitoring provider training progress and escalating concerns, as required
- Liaising with the broader training management team regarding site logistics and training preparation
- Assisting with responding to provider questions and concerns through the established support process
- Communicating with key stakeholders
- Go-Live Support activities include:
- Being visible and accessible during the go-live period to provide immediate assistance and address provider challenges, questions and concerns
- Following up with training and or content support requests assigned via established support process
- Remaining calm and effective in high-pressure situations, especially when handling urgent user issues that affect patient care or operational workflows
Qualifications
- Completion of an approved three-year Business Management diploma is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience within the last five years working in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
- Experience working in medical services is preferred.
- Ability to effectively coordinate projects and people.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
