Responsabilités

What you will be doing…

Reporting to the Manager; Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management, you will be Responsible for managing and improving identity and access management (IAM) systems at the college, ensuring secure access to organizational systems and applications by managing and monitoring identities.

  • Leads IAM-related projects, including system upgrades, business transformation initiatives, and user training.
  • Integrates IAM solutions, automates workflows, monitors system performance, and resolves technical issues to maintain a secure, efficient, and compliant in the IAM environment.
  • Implements, maintains, and improves identity and access management (IAM) systems, and focuses on configuring IAM tools, and automating processes.
  • Works closely with the Infrastructure, Cybersecurity and Enterprise teams at the College, as well as with vendor teams to administer identity applications, troubleshoot issues, and support identity and access-related projects ensuring alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
  • Utilizes knowledge of systems theory to develop scripts and views in various systems, and draft and coordinate change requests with the vendor and technical teams.
  • Develops and maintains workflows for identity lifecycle processes while overseeing identity onboarding, offboarding, and role changes to ensure proper access provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Communicates with other support areas of the College, and directly with clients as needed.
  • Partners with the College's Cybersecurity Analyst to conduct periodic access reviews, audits, and reporting.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification for this position is college diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Saviynt certifications or Training would be considered an asset.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of recent and related occupational experience in identity and access management or a related technical role (i.e., Systems Analyst, Programmer Analyst, Senior Systems Administrator, etc.).
  • Occupational experience that includes working with Microsoft Azure/Entra, SQL, Saviynt Identity Cloud or similar solution like Ping Identity would be considered an asset.
  • You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite
  • You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work

  • You have specific technical occupational knowledge and skill in System Analysis and Design, identity Access Management (IAM) tools (e.g., Savyint, Entra, Ping Identity), Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, and federated identity protocols including but not limited to SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
  • Experience scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) for automating IAM processes
  • You are known for your problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of security principles, identity lifecycle, and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Knowledge of or ability to write and review SQL, XML, and JSON would be considered an asset
  • You are a strong communicator
  • You possess excellent coordination skills specifically related to DevOps tools and methodologies for IAM automation and monitoring.
