Title: G-Class Delivery Driver - 5 Ton Truck
Pay: $20/hr.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Duration: Approx. 4-5 months

Location: Ottawa + Regional Routes (Kingston, Pembroke, Gatineau, Montreal)

We are currently seeking a G-Class licensed delivery driver to assist one of our clients during medical leave coverage. The position involves operating a 5-ton truck to complete scheduled deliveries across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, including Ottawa, Kingston, Pembroke, Gatineau, and Montreal.

This is a temporary full-time role expected to last 4 to 5 months, with consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to gain valuable regional delivery experience with a well-established organization.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 5-ton truck with a valid G-Class license
• Complete deliveries to multiple locations on a fixed regional route
• Load and unload products manually (hand bombing) and with a pallet jack
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time
• Follow all company safety procedures and road regulations
• Communicate with dispatch and on-site contacts as needed
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance concerns

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario G-Class driver's license with clean driver's abstract
• 2+ years of experience operating delivery vehicles (5-ton experience preferred)
• Ability to hand bomb and use pallet jacks for loading/unloading
• Comfortable with early morning starts and long-distance driving
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A criminal background check may be required as part of onboarding
