NL Health Services is in the process implementing CorCare, a new leading-edge Health Information System (HIS). This clinical transformation will provide NL Health Services with an integrated, and data-driven health system, driving improved access, efficiency, and patient outcomes across NL.
CorCare will replace Meditech Magic, Client Server, CRMS, and other digital health systems. This exciting project is the largest health care system implementation ever launched in Newfoundland and Labrador and will require a team of Credentialed Trainers to ensure the successful adoption and sustainability of this transformation.
Credentialed Trainers are responsible for engaging, training and supporting the adoption of CorCare for patients, providers, learners and staff across NL Health Services. They will collaborate with Principal Trainers, Systems Analysts, as well as subject matter experts to deliver instructor-led courses related to associated workflows, systems and configuration. The Credentialed Trainer will deliver both in-person and online training and maintain and/or create training materials.

They will be a visible and accessible support during the go-live period to provide immediate assistance and address end user challenges, questions and concerns.
Credentialed Trainers will go through a train-the-trainer/credentialing program and will be required to successfully deliver a segment of a CorCare class to a credentialing panel. They will use their knowledge and skills to provide and maintain an educational program that meets clinical and non-clinical needs for the relevant program area(s) to effectively use CorCare in all aspects of patient care.
